Amanda V. Weisseg (née Vinton) is an attorney licensed to practice in both Colorado and Texas (inactive status in Texas). She received her Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School in 2007 and has a BA in Psychology and a BS in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University.

Amanda was born in Utah, grew up in Arizona, spent many childhood summers in Montana, attended law school in Texas, and moved to Colorado right after law school, so she is truly a woman of the West.

Her areas of practice are limited to estate planning, trust and estate administration and Pre- and Post-Nuptial Agreements. She has been practicing law for 16 years and founded The Vinton Law Firm, P.C. in 2011. She is a member of Wealth Counsel, an active community of over 3,600 estate planning and wealth management professionals.

Amanda is also a member of the Colorado State Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association, and the Probate Section of the El Paso County Bar Association. She has served as a Board Member for the Colorado Springs Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is a graduate of their Leadership in Life Institute (LILI). She has also been a frequent presenter, teaching Continuing Legal Education (CLE), with NBI.

When not working, Amanda volunteers with CASA of the Pikes Peak Region and is a member of the advisory team for Alternativ, a local non-profit that partners with communities to deliver high-impact business training and mentorship, equipping individuals to start small businesses and break the cycle of poverty. In 2014, she traveled to Costa Rica with Alternativ to provide entrepreneurship training to women in the San Jose area. Her husband, Brian, traveled with Alternativ to Haiti in 2018 and to El Salvador in 2022.

Amanda and Brian live just north of the Black Forest with their three black cats. Amanda enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling.

Brandi L. Jackson joined The Vinton Law Firm in August 2020. She graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she studied Political Science with a concentration in pre-law. She then volunteered for AmeriCorps for one year before going to law school. She received her Juris Doctor in 2015 from Berkeley Law School and was licensed in Colorado that year.

Brandi joined The Vinton Law Firm after practicing as a Senior Deputy State Public Defender in Colorado Springs for five years. She has extensive litigation and courtroom experience, which means in addition to representing clients in estate planning and probate, she adds probate litigation and protective proceedings to the law firm’s areas of practice.

Brandi’s years of experience as a trial attorney provide her the confidence to face any challenge, whether in or outside the courtroom. She understands the many emotional challenges that accompany this area of practice, and is devoted to helping guide her clients through stressful times while navigating the complex legal arena.

Brandi is a member of Wealth Counsel, an active community of over 3,600 estate planning and wealth management professionals. She is also a member of the Colorado State Bar Association, the El Paso County Bar Association and the Probate Section of the El Paso County Bar Association.

When not working, Brandi enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her husband, daughter, and pup, or working on the next home improvement project.

Krysta has been a valuable member of The Vinton Law Firm since 2017, serving first as the office administrator, funding coordinator, and first point of contact for all clients. She is now our paralegal and funding coordinator.

For the 7 years prior to joining the firm, Krysta worked with another small business in Colorado Springs. She left that position as a department manager when she decided to transition to The Vinton Law Firm for a new challenge.

Krysta attended school at both Pikes Peak Community College and the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and received her Paralegal certification after joining the law firm. She enjoys learning and working in the field of estate planning and probate and works hard to ensure clients receive the best service possible.

Krysta is a Colorado Springs native who enjoys being in her home state. She and her husband, Connor, live in Peyton with their dog, Lexa. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and reading.
